Project Overview
The Annual Donor and Volunteer Report is the most significant Donor Relations piece produced in terms of reach, scope, budget, and time. It is an integral part of CJP’s retention strategy for lead donors of $1,000 and more.
2019 Goals
• Deepen CJP’s connection to donors
• Communicate the impact of CJP’s work and acknowledge the significance of donor support
• Translate a more complete financial story
• Set-up a new community vision upon the foundation of the past
Process
Intimate and early collaboration with Director of Donor Relations and Team for content and design








Outcomes
• Report was sent to approximately 3,000 households including leadership, donors who gave $1,000 and up, high-profile community members, and volunteers
• Web version has served as a template for future giving reports
• 95% retention rate for this donor population
• We successfully communicated that 1) the community is strong because of CJP 2) CJP does great things and 3) CJP couldn’t do it without donors
